Post-graduate training
The Republican Research and Practice Mental Health Center has the special permit (license) for the training and education. License No.02100/564 was issued in accordance with Decision No.960 as of November 24, 2016 of the Ministry of Education and was registered in the special permit (license) registry under entry No. 564.
The education center of the Republican Research and Practice Mental Health Center was established in accordance with Order No.201 as of March 1, 2017 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus “On postgraduate training in the institutions subordinated the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, which are entitled to implement postgraduate training programs”.
After accreditation on “Healthcare” specialty, “Prevention, diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation and healthcare management” field of study, in September 2017, chief and other medical specialists may undergo postgraduate trainings in the Republican Research and Practice Mental Health Center in accordance with the Master postgraduate training plan (as amended on April 21, 2017).
To complete postgraduate training at the education center, a contract for postgraduate training shall be made in accordance with the approved procedure. The costs for the postgraduate training may be paid by:
- the institutions which refer specialists to the education center (out of the funds obtained from commercial activities);
- other institutions or individuals (at the customer’s expense);
- foreign citizens (at the customer’s expense).
In 2018-2020, we will offer the following postgraduate training programs:
- Transcranial magnetic stimulation in therapy for mental disorders (diseases) (for addiction psychiatrists);
- Advanced aspects of addiction preventive care (for addiction psychiatrists);
- Topical legal and ethic issues of modern psychiatry and addiction medicine (for addiction psychiatrists);
- Eating disorders (for addiction psychiatrists).
